me and rowan go to North Fulton Community Charities when we are really down on our luck to get food and diapers. they also give out daily bread. (give us today our daily bread) it is so nice that there are people out there who donate every day to people less fortunate than themselves.
i love this place and if i ever have the extra money or get rich (yeah right) i am definitely going to donate! and rowan loved playing with all the other kids

we had almost no food in our house before. this is after.

breastfeeding

one of the reasons i tried so hard to keep breastfeeding when i know i couldn't anymore was because of how rowan cuddled when she was eating. i knew when she started drinking a bottle and was older, she wouldn't let me cuddle that close anymore. so i was really sad about it. but thankfully my daughter likes being cuddled when she has her milk or formula and has continued to let me hold her whenever she has it, even now. i love my baby!

OCD or resourceful?

 i get these huge packs of wipes from costco and they're really convenient but every once in a while you get a pack where the lid wont stay closed, or breaks off.

sooo when that happens, i have to put them in a ziploc bag so rowan doesn't pull every single wipe out and let them dry out

but i also have a little case for my diaper bag that needs to constantly be refilled

( i could just use another ziploc bag but because im constantly in a hurry when i use these wipes, i dont always remember to close the bag all the way and they dry out)

so to refill the case i have to take the random wipes in the ziploc bag and carefully fold and layer them

(which takes a looong time)

and then stack them carefully in the case

(all without having rowan inturrupting me and scattering the folded wipes all over the living room)

hey atleast im not spending the extra money on those little diaperbag sized packs of wipes

Tattooed lady

Was doing research on the internet for tattoos and found this picture. In the old days women did not get tattoos, especially not all over their body. So the few women who did were featured in carnival sideshows. This woman was one of them. I'm hoping I can finally get my sleeve started when we go to florida next week. It is freaking ridiculous how much they charge around here.

Strange child...

~Just some of the strange things kids do but always looks so damn cute!~
Rowan decided to play in her empty pool on the porch but when she reclined and put her arms on the edge the whole thing fell over with her in it and landed on her head. (Wish I had gotten that on camera) and now she is bringing me every piece of pinestraw and dirt that she can pick up. She acts like every new piece of debris that she gives me is soo important and places it carefully in my hand saying "here hold it". And then waits by me until I say thank you every time. Lol

First faceplant

Rowan fell down the other day in the cul-de-sac and got her first booboo lol the first of many. She fell on her hands and knees but somehow got a scrape under her nose... random

so the few times i actually get to surf the internet, my favorite thing to do is search for awesome pictures or pictures of really strange things. i probably have hundreds of photos i have saved over the years so i gonna try to post one everyday.

molars!

so rowan has been sick for the past week with a virus and at the same time, all of her molars are coming in. when the doctor looked in her mouth she was surprised at how swollen they were. now she finally is over the virus but the teething has kicked into high gear. all she does is scream and scream at the top of her lungs all day. i feel so bad cause i can't make it any better. i've tried cold liquids and foods (popscicles!), baby oragel, cold teething toys, tyelonol, everything except whiskey on the gums. (only because i dont have any whiskey). my poor baby. her other teeth were not this bad. i thought after the first couple of teeth it was supposed to get better...? but its understandable cause these teeth are waaay bigger.

Brandon found this little budwiser and said he had to buy it cause it looked so cute (even though he doesn't like budwiser)

4th of july

Had a good time yesterday at my mom and dad's house. I think this was the first 4th of july brandon has gotten to enjoy since he started working. So it was nice having the whole family there. We grilled out and set off explosives even in the pouring rain. Surprisingly rowan wasn't scared of the fireworks at all. That's my daughter!

Attempt at my second tattoo

I'm trying to figure out how to use my tattoo gun without any instruction and a very high pain tolerance. This is my second attempt but I was actually trying on this one. Can't even tell how bad a job I'm doing cause I can't feel how deep the needle is going. But it looks a little better at the top atleast!
